ActiveSync for Windows OS provides DLA (Drive Letter Access) as Mobile Device using Windows Explorer

(1d) (Optional) Use a Memory Card Reader Attached to the Desktop/Laptop

On the memory card, create folder TweetChirp Assistant

Copy all of the unzipped files from the Desktop/Laptop to this folder

Then Insert the Memory Card into the PDA

Installation TweetChirp Windows Mobile 6 TOP

1. On the Desktop, CREATE folder C:\TweetChirp and COPY your APPLICATION (TCA2007.zip) and REGION zip files into it.

2. CREATE a subfolder C:\TweetChirp\Mobile and UNZIP your APPLICATION and REGION zip files into it.

3. On the memory card CREATE a folder TweetChirp Assistant.

4. COPY the contents of C:\TweetChirp\Mobile to folder TweetChirp Assistant on the memory card.

5. COPY the link file TweetChirp2007.lnk from folder C:\TweetChirp\Mobile to folder Windows\Start Menu on the device. That link will be displayed on your device's Start Menu

INSTALLATION TWEETCHIRP LEGACY TOP

1. On the Desktop, create folder C:\TweetChirp and COPY your APPLICATION (TweetChirpPocketPC.zip) and REGION zip files into it.

2a. CREATE a subfolder C:\TweetChirp\Mobile and UNZIP ONLY your region zip files into it.

2b. UNZIP ONLY your application zip into C:\TweetChirp then CLICK on Setup.exe and the program will install TweetChirp Legacy unto your device into folder Program Files\TweetChirp Assistant.

3. On the memory card CREATE a folder TweetChirp Assistant.

4a. COPY the contents of C:\TweetChirp\Mobile to folder TweetChirp Assistant on the memory card.

4b. On your device, COPY the contents of Program Files\TweetChirp Assistant to the folder TweetChirp Assistant on your memory card.

5. COPY the link file TweetChirp.lnk from folder C:\TweetChirp\Mobile to folder Windows\Start Menu on the device. That link will be displayed on your device's Start Menu

6. COPY the help file TweetChirpAssistantHelp2005.htm from folder C:\TweetChirp\Mobile to folder Windows on the device.

7. CLICK the link on your device's Start Menu to run the program.

INSTALLATION TWEETCHIRP PALM TOP

1. On the Desktop, CREATE folder C:\TweetChirp and COPY your APPLICATION (TCAPALM.zip) and REGION zip files into it.

2a. CREATE a subfolder C:\TweetChirp\Mobile.

2b. UNZIP your application file (TCAPALM.zip) into C:\TweetChirp\Mobile. There should be THREE subfolders - Mobile, PALM and Launcher

2c. Unzip your Region zip file e.g. ON.zip in folder C:\TweetChirp to subfolder C:\TweetChirp\Mobile\PALM. Overwrite the FIVE WAV files!

3. On the memory card make certain that there is a PALM folder with a subfolder Launcher. If these folders are NOT present then REFORMAT the card through your PALM device.

4. COPY all of the FILES (NOTE: NOT the SUBFOLDER Launcher) of C:\TweetChirp\Mobile\PALM to the memory card into folder PALM.

5. COPY the application program TWEETCHIRPASSISTANT.PRC from C:\TweetChirp\Mobile\PALM\Launcher folder

to the memory card's PALM\Launcher folder. The PALM device will automatically create a link or short-cut on the device.

6. CLICK the link on your device's CARD Menu to run the program.

INSTALLATION TWEETCHIRP DESKTOP TOP

1a. On the Desktop, CREATE folder C:\TweetChirp.

1b. COPY your APPLICATION (TCAPALM.zip) and REGION zip files into folder C:\TweetChirp.

2a. CREATE a subfolder C:\TweetChirp\Mobile and UNZIP your region zip file into it.

2b. UNZIP your application zip into C:\TweetChirp then CLICK on Setup.exe and the program will:

install TweetChirp Desktop unto your desktop/laptop into folder Program Files\TweetChirp Assistant

and

add a link or short-cut to your START PROGRAMS menu.

3. COPY the contents of C:\TweetChirp\Mobile folder to C:\Program Files\TweetChirp Assistant folder.

4. CLICK the link on your desktop/laptop's PROGRAM Menu to run the program.

How To EMULATE TWEETCHIRP LEGACY on Windows Pocket PC 2002, Windows Pocket PC 2003 and Windows Pocket PC 2003 Second Edition Devices. TOP

1. DOWNLOAD the Microsoft runtime files (msvbppc.armv4.cab) from www.tweetchirp.com.

2. CONNECT your Pocket PC 2000, 2002 or 2003 device TO your desktop/laptop computer.

3. Ensure ActiveSync is RUNNING and ACTIVELY CONNECTED between your desktop/laptop computer and your PDA device.

4. On your desktop/laptop computer CLICK on ActiveSync's "Explore" to access your Pocket PC 2000, 2002 or 2003 device from your desktop/laptop computer.

5. Open the "My Pocket PC" folder by DOUBLE-CLICKING it and then open the "Windows" folder by DOUBLE-CLICKING it.

6. COPY msvbppc.armv4.cab TO your device's Windows folder.

7. On your Pocket PC 2000, 2002 or 2003 device:

CLICK "Start"

CLICK "Programs"

CLICK "File Explorer" to start the File Explorer.

8. On your Pocket PC 2000, 2002 or 2003's File Explorer, OPEN "\My Device\Windows", LOCATE msvbppc.armv4.cab, and then CLICK on msvbppc.armv4.cab to begin the extraction.

9. DOWNLOAD TweetChirp Legacy and install the package on your device.
